Tentative Event & Race Schedule

Spooky Crit is open to all levels, from pros to amateurs, and will include the following race categories. Race times are subject to minor updates as registration progresses and we move closer to race day.

  • 9:45 AM – Day-of Registration & Packet Pickup Opens

  • 11am - Kids Race - Free!

  • 11:30 am - First Timers (20 mins + 1 lap)

  • 12:10 pm - Costume (12:10 PM (20 mins + 1 lap)

  • 1 pm - Clunker Crit (20 mins + 1 lap)

  • 1:45 pm - Age Group Women (20 mins + 1 lap)

  • 2:15 pm – Open Men & Open Women Athlete Meeting/ Q&A

  • 2:30 pm - Age Group Men (20 mins + 1 lap)

  • 3:30 pm - Open Women (30 min + 1 lap)

    • (TBD Prize Purse, Pays 3 Deep)

  • 4:30 pm - Open Men (35 min + 1 lap)

    • (TBD Prize Purse, Pays 3 Deep)

Racers will be allowed to preview the course between races as time permits.

registration & Packet Pick Up

  • 2026 is registration is fill up fast! Register now.

  • Day of registration will be available pending availability.

  • Day-of registration and packet pickup opens at 9:45 AM, and will be in the parking lot of the Lunda Bay Little League Fields.

  • Registration will remain open until 30 minutes before the next race.

  • We encourage anyone interested to race in multiple categories — come for the ride, stay for the fun! We will be offering discounts for anyone racing multiple races, just come talk to us at the registration tent. 

Parking & Event Access

Parking is available at Palos Verdes Intermediate School and along the east side of Palos Verdes Drive West (the side of the street adjacent to the venue). Please avoid parking on the west side of Palos Verdes Drive West to minimize dangerous street crossings. Be mindful that there may be racing going on as you enter the venue.

Athlete Guide

The 2026 Athlete Guide is in the works and will be posted here once available. Race registrants will be notified via email when the guide is available as well.

Neutral Mechanical Support

South Bay Cycle will be providing neutral mechanical support on race day.

Merchandise, Donations, & Raffle

  • Exclusive Spooky Crit merchandise will be available for purchase on-site.

  • Raffle tickets will be on sale for a chance to win some incredible prizes from our incredible event sponsors.

  • Pre-ordered merch will be available for pick up at registration.

  • Proceeds and donations go directly toward LA fire relief and trail rebuilding.

Vendors & Exhibitors

  • Food, water, and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day from on site vendors.

  • We’ll also have an exhibitor expo featuring local brands and organizations. Reach out to racedirector@spookycrit.com if your group would like to participate.

Open Men & Women Categories Only

  • There will be an Athlete Meeting at 2:15 PM before the Open races for final questions and to announce a few Tricks and Treats.

  • A reminder to our elite racers: Both the Open Men’s and Open Women’s fields will compete for an equal prize purse, paying three deep. Prize purse size will be announced soon.
